Language

Our Learning Programme has its foundation based strongly on the guidelines set by the world class curriculum infused with finnish creative methodology. The curriculum framework details the big ideas, essential questions, vocabulary, concepts, and competencies that define the learning standards.

Value Education:

We have a unique VE Curriculum for students, designed to develop an ideal personality, linked to 6 Core Values such as Integrity, Care, Harmony, Respect, Resilience and Responsibility. The future economy will need people who possess a good moral compass to make the difficult decisions about how to use technology. In the wrong hands, the implications could have significant consequences. And for Muslim students, it is based on Islamic Concepts and Practices, linked to the 6 Core Values. We realize that in order to develop a whole person who can keep pace with the 21st Century challenges, we have to empower children and their parents to hold on to the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Rasoolullah (SAS), maintain a balance between materialiam and spiritualism and add value to lives by learning and seeking usefuül knowledge.

Comprehensive Qur'an Learning:

Our Qur'an Learning Scheme is designed to develop among students close affinity with Holy Qur'an and to understand it. It includes Reading Qur'an. Memorizing Qur'an (Hifz), and Understanding Qur'an (Tafsir). Hifz of eligible students will be completed by Grade 8.

Cognitive Skill Development:

Through highly effective teaching strategies, we progressively build learning skills such as attention, memory and thinking, and eventually prepare children for Higher Order Thinking. Cognitive control capacities, often referred to as executive functions, play an important role in fostering children's capacity for self-regulated and goal-oriented learning. We engage children physically, intellectually, creatively, emotionally and spiritually to strengthen their cognitive skills (See Curriculum Framework)

Social Emotional Learning - Fostering Leadership:

Children with healthy social-emotional skills are more likely to succeed in school, work, and life. These skills help them manage emotions, build healthy relationships, and show empathy and understanding. Classroom, field and mal life activities are directed towards achieving these skills categorized under 5 core competencies such as sell awareness, self management, social awareness, social management and responsible decision making.

Physical Education:

Researchers have found an association between physical fitness and the brain functioning in children. Those who are more fit tend to have a bigger hippocampus and perform better on a test of memory than their less-fit peers. Learning in physical education promotes active lifestyles, challenges thinking in a fun envuonment, builds movement competence and confidence, develops teamwork, leadership and interpersonal skills, explores and develops decision making and risk taking management, triggers thinking and action to create change, develops understandings about the social and cultural significance of movements and creates learning pathways.

Creative Arts:

Creativity will be one of the top skills required to thrive in the 21st century. For instance, careers in artificial intelligence, robotics and biotechnology will demand forward thinking, innovative leaders to drive advances in these areas. Our Creative Arts Curriculum includes Visual Arts and Performing Arts (Drama), supporting our mission to develop Creative Innovators. We provide an environment where children can have the confidence to explore their creative talents and become understanding people of purpose and character.
